This Privacy Policy describes how Blue Ocean Applications (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit blueoceanapplications.com (the “Site”) and when you interact with our products and services.
1) Information We Collect
- Identifiers: name, email address, and similar account details.
- Consumer data: purchase/subscription history processed via Stripe, Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.
- Internet activity: device/browser details, pages viewed, and server logs (including IP address).
- Approximate geolocation: derived from IP address (city/country-level only).
- Optional well-being inputs (for our apps): user-entered moods, feelings, or reflections.
2) How We Use Information
- Contract / service delivery: operate the Site and services, manage accounts/subscriptions, process payments, and send administrative messages.
- Legitimate interests: improve and secure our services, analyze usage, request feedback, and prevent fraud/abuse.
- Legal obligations: comply with tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
- Consent: for any optional marketing communications (not currently sent from the Site).
3) Third Parties & Disclosures
We use service providers to operate the Site and our apps, including Google Cloud/Firebase (hosting, database, authentication, crash reporting, AI/Gemini), Stripe, Apple, Google Play/Google Wallet, and RevenueCat. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4) Cookies & Tracking
We do not place non-essential advertising cookies on the Site. If we enable additional analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and (where required) present a cookie notice and obtain consent.
5) International Transfers
Personal information may be processed in the United States and Canada. Where required, we rely on European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and analogous mechanisms for international transfers.
6) Data Retention
- Account data: retained while your account is active.
- Internet activity & geolocation: typically up to 12 months (geolocation up to 6 months) for security and analytics.
- Transaction records: as necessary for legal/tax compliance (commonly up to 7 years).
7) Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, reputable vendors). If we become aware of a data breach, we will notify relevant authorities and affected individuals as required by law.
8) Your Rights

9) Children
Our Site and services are not directed to children under 13 (or as defined by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
